Nasi Jenggo, bli!

It's this time of the month again... 10 days until I got my monthly salary, and I don' t really know how I'm gonna go through this?!?!?
As my motto in live, that 'I can't think with empty stomach...'
So , I must find a way to keep surviving. Looking at the stock in my kitchen, after 3 days in a row of eating instant noodles and boiled eggs, I got a little fed up. That's when I went out to check out what's worth eating with the money I'm left out with...
So, there I saw this dude on bicycle selling Nasi Jenggo, he was like a knight in shining armor!
Nasi Jenggo is the traditional meal of Balinese, although the vendors are mostly Javanese. It's white rice served with some shred of omellete, vegetables, noodles, and sambal (traditional chili sauce). They're wrapped in banana leaves (very eco-friendly) which makes the whole thing taste really delicious. And it costs me only Rp.2000 (Two thousands rupiahs only!) so it's about.. um...US$0.15. Hahahaha! Now I can think again... Well at least for the next 3 days :-p So here's the pic of the same Nasi Jenggo I bought, just before I ate it :-)

photo by Rio Pranoto (professional photographer for a few magazines in Bali, you must admit he did a good job, i beg him to make this shot just for you!, hopefully he would help me for more pictures :-))
